George
George is our pet Steer. He is a Belted Galloway.
He was born on 9th September 2005.
He is now quite a big lad! We think he weighs about a ton!!!
He was only about 18 months old when this picture was taken. He looks a bit bigger now.
We had lots of friends from his old herd come and stay to keep him company. Including a couple of pregnant cows who gave birth on the farm.
So Hazel gave birth to Hamish and Zenith gave birth to Zen. They are all back on the other farm now. You may see some of them on Bursdon Moor as you travel on the A39 North of us in Devon just before you come into Cornwall.
We now have two Highland Heifers, Ina and Katherine who keep George company along with their valves born in une 2011.
