Ina’s and Katherine’s Big Day
Ina and Katherine will both be two year's old in October and have been with us for a year. Now that they are in their prime we think they would be marvelous mothers.As they are our only heifers bringing in a bull is not practical, so the AI Man was on standby and he came as planned this morning. The proud father is also of pedigree stock and is called Coinneach of Pollock! We are now on countdown until next June and all being well.................
......Three weeks later, and we have found that our attempts have been unsuccessful. The "Girls" have therefore had a second visit from the AI man and so it is a waiting game once more. If this also has a negative result we will leave it until next year. They are still very young, not fully grown and have many productive years ahead of them.
