These show range from small local shows like our favorite local shows at the beginning and end of the season, the Woolsery Show and the Holsworthy and Stratton Agricultural Show to the big three day shows like the Royal Cornwall Show.

7th to 9th - Royal Cornwall Show - Wadebridge - One of the countries leading shows. Unlikely you will see everything if you go for all three days! Worth going to. 3/4 hr away without the queues. www.royalcornwallshow.org

26th - Launceston Agricultural Show - Egloskerry - The first more local show with plenty of animals. www.launcestonshow.co.uk
28th - Mid Devon Show - Tiverton - Larger show 1 1/2hrs away www.middevonshow.co.uk
30th - Woolsery Show - Clovelly - Our nearest and one of our favorite shows. 10 mins away. A small local show with farm animals, horse jumping competitions, local stalls. Plenty to see and do and have a great leisurely day out in the grounds of Clovelly Court. Worth coming to stay if just for this show! The village of Woolsery is properly called Woolfardisworthy! 29th - Totnes and District Agricultural Show - Berry Pomeroy - A larger full agricultural show with lots of animals. About 1 3/4 to 2 hrs away. www.totnesshow.com
August
1st - North Devon Show - Umberleigh - Big agricultural show withlots going on well worth a day out. 45 mins away. www.northdevonshow.com
TBC - Camelford Show - Small agricultural show 30 mins away.
9th - Okehampton Show - Larger show about 1 hr away just off A30 www.okehamptonshow.co.uk
16th - Chagford Show - Chagford - A full day out with lots of trade stands and displays in the middle of Dartmoor. About 1 hr away. www.chagfordshow.com
TBC - Holsworthy and Stratton Agricultural Show - Halfway between Bude and Holsworthy about 15 mins away. Larger local show with an emphasis on agriculture. Lots of show farm animals, horse jumping competitions, displays in the ring and plenty of trade and food stands.
