Sheep Shearing
BEFORE.....
Very sheepish expressions all round...but with good reason! Jack, Billy, Sam and Gabriel are just about to have their annual trip to the shearer to have their woolly locks cut off. We take them to our neighbour John's farm where he has rounded up a few hundred ewes all having the same treatment. Their experiences are recorded on the attached video.
AND AFTER...
All looking a bit shell-shocked and slightly embarrassed being caught on camera without their woolly coats on. We thought it only proper to leave Gabriel with his 'top knot'!
We now have several bags of wonderful sheep's wool to take to the mill to be washed and carded, ready for rug making.
