Ina and Katherine will both be two year's old in October and have been with us for a year. It was George's fifth birthday this week so we decided to treat him to a pedicure! Not sure if George thought it was such a good idea, but his back hooves really needed a trim.He is now walking much better and will feel a lot more comfortable.

At the Autumn Rare and Local Breed Livestock auction we spotted two lovely girls looking lost and decided they could not be split up and so we bought Ina 2nd of Roseland and Katherine 2nd of Roseland our pedigree Highland heifers.
They have joined George our Belted Galloway steer and are all happy munching their way through the grass and hay.

George is our pet Steer. He is a Belted Galloway.
He was born on 9th September 2005.
He is now quite a big lad! We think he weighs about a ton!!!
He was only about 18 months old when this picture was taken. He looks a bit bigger now.
